DC DOES Shared Work Plan Application_v2

The Department of Employment Services (DOES) is dedicated to assisting individuals affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency.  To ensure individuals stay connected to the workforce, the DOES Office of Unemployment Compensation (OUC) has introduced its Shared Work Unemployment Compensation Program (Shared Work). This is a voluntary program that provides an alternative to layoffs for employers confronted with a decline in business. Instead of layoffs, you reduce your regular part-time and full-time employees’ hours between 10% - 60% and keep them on the job.
